King 810 are a metal band from Flint, Michigan, known for their uncompromising heaviness and raw, confrontational lyricism. Formed in 2007 by vocalist David Gunn and bassist Eugene Gill, the band draw deeply from the violence and struggles of their hometown, weaving brutal riffs and guttural vocals into music that feels both punishing and painfully real. Their breakthrough came with Memoirs of a Murderer (2014), released through Roadrunner Records, which introduced tracks like “Fat Around the Heart” and “Killem All” to audiences worldwide.
Since then, King 810 have continued to push boundaries with albums including La Petite Mort or a Conversation with God (2016), Suicide King (2019), AK Concerto No. 47, 11th Movement in G Major (2020), and Rustbelt Numetal (2025). Known for their explosive and theatrical live shows, they’ve played major festivals such as Download and Bloodstock, as well as touring with acts like Slipknot and Korn. Combining crushing soundscapes with a poetic, often provocative lyrical edge, King 810 have carved out a reputation as one of the most fearless and intense forces in modern metal.
