The rise of child prodigy Julian Lage was inevitable. The jazz guitarist performed at the Grammy Awards in 2000 aged just 12 years old. Three years later, and he was already installed as a faculty member of the Stanford Jazz Workshop at Stanford University.
In 2009, Lage launched debut album Standing Point which saw him return to the Grammys, but this time as a nominee. His shadow looms large as a progressive force in jazz and has now released twelve acclaimed albums including latest LP View With A Room.
