Punk musician, journalist and writer John Robb rose to fame as bassist of Blackpool-based post-punk outfit The Membranes. He went on to form punk rock band Goldblade in 1995.
Robb has also founded the independent online music magazine Louder Than War. He has written numerous books on music and subcultures, including his latest titles The Art of Darkness : The History Of Goth and Do You Believe in the Power of Rock & Roll?: Forty Years of Music Writing from the Frontline.
