Groove Den is a collaborative meeting of minds and the brainchild of Bristolmusic heavy weight James Morton. Influenced by a wide range of musicalstyles including jazz, funk, hip-hop, soul and rock, the common thread isgroove and feel.James is one of the most exciting saxophonists of his generation and hasperformed and recorded with some of the most prolific artists in musicincluding Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley and The New JB’s, George Clinton, TheHerbaliser and the NPG Horns (Prince) to name a few. He also has released 2albums “The Kid” and “Don’t You Worry ‘Bout That” to critical acclaim.On Guitar Alex Hutchings has been dazzling audiences internationally with hisdistinctive, heart felt playing and technical brilliance for over a decade, mostrecently completing a 150 date world tour with Steven Wilson (formerlyPorcupine Tree) culminating in 3 nights at The Royal Albert hall released onDVD.
