We were amused
Great venue, intimate to see the least, we very close to the comedian and we could all see each other very easily.
Jake was very amusing and quietly clever, he appears slightly uncomfortable which worked to his favour. This was a preview show so some material was being tried out for the first time.
Well thought out observational humour, no gimmicks, no shouting, a little bit quirky and genuinely amusing, some great audience banter, very natural stage presence.
Can see him certainly moving onwards and upwards

Now that’s how you brighten up a Sunday evening!!!
First time at this venue. Very well organised and so intimate. I was told I had no choice but to sit on the front row, reluctantly I obliged but thankfully, I wasn’t singled out !!
Jake Lambert was extremely funny for the entire set, I laughed the whole way throughout. He was slightly reminiscent of Alan Partridge , not a bad thing in my book. Would definitely see him live again and will be returning to The Black Horse for more comedy events
