Welsh rockers Holding Absence go big on the riffs, tapping into post-hardcore and post rock.
They have released three studio albums, including an eponymously titled debut which dropped in 2019, The Greatest Mistake of My Life (2021) and The Noble Art of Self Destruction (2023).
Formed in 2015, the Cardiff-based band now consists of Ashley Green (drums), Lucas Woodland (vocals, keys), Scott Carey (guitar, backing vocals) and Benjamin Elliott (bass).

Holding Absence, Stylus, Leeds - 25th November 2023
For a very VERY long time I’ve wanted to see Holding Absence and I finally got to! I was overwhelmed with emotion and spent the majority of the gig crying with joy. Thankyou guys and to your backstage team for a truly unforgettable experience!
