If you'd like to be the first to know when new events are announced, you can follow Herman Dune below.
Herman Dune began life in Paris in 1999 as a trio led by brothers David-Ivar and André Benouaisch, joined initially by Omé and later Swiss drummer Néman. Over time the project evolved into the singular creative voice of David-Ivar, whose lyrics and melodies channel a beguiling mix of folk-rock, anti-folk wit and timeless indie charm. Early albums such as Turn Off the Light (2000) and Not on Top (2005) established their lo-fi indie credentials, while 2006’s Giant brought broader recognition thanks to the standout single “I Wish That I Could See You Soon”.
As the years progressed, Herman Dune’s sound matured yet retained its essential warmth and poetic restlessness. Albums like Next Year in Zion (2008) and Strange Moosic (2011) offered a richer palette of instrumentation and evolving themes of journeys, belonging and life on the move. With David-Ivar now based in California and continuing to release music under the Herman Dune banner, the project remains a quietly influential presence—rooted in narrative songcraft, expressive voice and the free-wheeling spirit of indie exploration.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
