About Harts
Harts is the stage name of the highly talented Darren Hart. Singer, song writer and producer, Hart is extremely proficient with multiple instruments combing use of synth, loop samplers and drum machines whilst overlaying vocals and guitar to produce outstanding funk and electronic indie.
Hailing from Melbourne, Australia, Harts began his solo music career in 2008. It wasn’t long before he self-released his first demo Back To The Shore through iTunes in 2010. The song came to the attention of Lars Stalfors for The Mars Volta who offered to mix the song plus other tracks. The resulted in the creation of the 2013 EP Offtime.
In 2012 he released the single All Too Real which benefitted from prominent airplay on BBC Radio 6 Music and Triple J.
2014 saw the release of his debut album Daydreamer. The LP garnished praise from the press all around the world with its stand out singles Leavn It All Behind, Angels Walk Below and Red & Blue.
