The music was fab. Listening to Tunde reminded me of the great music lighthouse family made. Emile Sande took a little warming up before she hit the notes but Gregory Porter was as smooth as silk from the get-go. He’s a real master. I think he could hypnotise anyone to do anything with that voice. Great historic venue well suited to live music and beautiful too. The toilets were good too & clean throughout. Good food choices but had ordered fortnum & mason picnic - so much food - but of course it was the hamper I really wanted! Can’t say it was a bargain cos £200 for a picnic but I didn’t feel like I’d been held up by Dick Turpin either. The service at f&m was second to none! Even loved the Prosecco which is not my usual choice. Go for it - treat yourself.
