Ezio are a British folk band from Cambridge, England, named after their lead singer and main composer Ezio Lunedei. Formed in (1990), the group grew from a duo of guitarists — Ezio Lunedei and Mark “Booga” Fowell — into a full band with bassist Lidia Cascarino, multi-instrumentalist Lee “The Reverend” Russell and drummer Alex Reeves, expanding their sound and live presence across acoustic folk, rock and melodic storytelling. Known for deep, honest and emotionally resonant songs, Ezio’s music draws listeners in with lyrical clarity and intimate performance energy.
Across a long and richly detailed career, they have released a string of studio albums including The Angel Song (1993), Black Boots on Latin Feet (1995), Diesel Vanilla (1997), Higher (2000), The Making of Mr. Spoons (2003), Ten Thousand Bars (2006), This Is the Day (2010), Adam and the Snake (2014) and Daylight Moon (2016), alongside live albums and compilations that reflect their evolving artistry and enduring connection with fans.
