About Everybody Loves The Sunshine

The Red, Black & Green Ubiquity Ensemble is a UK-based tribute act dedicated to celebrating the music and legacy of jazz-funk legend Roy Ayers, with a particular focus on his 1973 album Red, Black & Green. The ensemble brings together a stellar line-up of musicians, including Xantoné Blacq, Mary Pearce, Sahra Gure, Otto Williams, Raphael Delohino, Maurizio Ravalico, Femi Tomowo, Dennis Rollins, and Donovan Haffner, recreating the intricate arrangements, infectious grooves, and soulful energy that made Ayers’ work so influential.

Known for their vibrant live performances, the ensemble has performed in venues such as St James The Great Church in London, where the rich acoustics amplify the warmth and depth of Ayers’ jazz, funk, and soul fusion. By faithfully capturing the spirit of the original recordings while bringing their own energy to the stage, the Red, Black & Green Ubiquity Ensemble offers audiences a dynamic, celebratory experience of one of music’s most enduring sounds.
