Following their last sold-out concert, El Mató a un Policía Motorizado returns to London for their biggest show to date. Hailing from La Plata, Argentina, have spent over two decades crafting unforgettable melodies that have inspired artists worldwide, from Amaia to Los Planetas and Carolina Durante.
With landmark albums like Navidad de Reserva (2005), Un millón de euros (2006), and Día de los Muertos (2008), the band toured extensively across Europe, the US, Mexico, and South America. Their 2017 release, La Síntesis O’Konor, marked a bold evolution in their sound, blending indie pop with subtle krautrock influences.
Subsequent releases, La Otra Dimensión (2019) and Unas Vacaciones Raras (2021, the Okupas soundtrack), solidified their unique artistic identity, culminating in sold-out shows worldwide and a 2022 Latin Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
Now, the band returns with their latest album, Súper Terror, recorded at Sonic Ranch studios in Texas — a thrilling new chapter in their extraordinary journey.
