This year, Discovery Festival is proud to support families through the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice and veterans through The Not Forgotten charity. For every charitable donation made with a ticket purchase, Discovery Festival will contribute additional support to these incredible causes.’

Shooting Star brief overview below:

Shooting Star Children’s Hospices are a vital lifeline to families who find themselves in the most unimaginable circumstances.  Families lives are turned upside down on learning that their child has been diagnosed with a life-limiting illness.  Shooting Stars must raise £10m every single year to ensure it gives babies, children, and young people the care and support they need.  This includes respite, end-of-life care and supporting the largest hospice at home service in the country, together with post-bereavement support for the whole family. With only 6.5% help from the government, we are totally reliant on your generosity.  Please help us to continue to make every precious moment count.  Thank you.

The Not Forgotten overview:

The Not Forgotten is a UK charity supporting wounded, sick, and disabled veterans and service members. It organizes social activities, outings, and respite breaks to improve mental and physical health, combat loneliness, and foster community. The charity has been active since 1920 and helps over 10,000 beneficiaries annually.
