Performing Artists

Dexys Midnight Runners were formed in 1978 by Kevin Rowland and Kevin Archer in Birmingham, England. The band are arguably one of the finest groups ever to emerge from the UK.
Dexys Bootleg Runners are the world's first tribute band to this legendary act and hail from Scotland. The band are a full 10 piece group including horn section, banjo, accordion, organ, piano, guitar, bass, fiddle, vocals and drums.
Tonight Dexys Bootleg Runners will be performing the classic 2nd album by Dexys Midnight Runners, "Too-Rye-Ay", in it's entirety. The album was originally released in 1982 and featured the singles "Jackie Wilson Said ( I'm in heaven when you smile )", "The Celtic Soul Brothers" and "Come on Eileen". The latter was a number one hit in the UK and reached the top 20 in the USA and has since become one of the most recognisable songs in the world.
Dexys Bootleg Runners will also perform a second set featuring classics from the Dexys Midnight Runners back catalogue including "Geno", "Dance Stance", "Show me", "Seven Days too Long", "There there my Dear", "Plan B", "One Way Love" and more.
