Known for his immersive, atmospheric soundscapes, Daniel Avery has become one of the most distinctive voices in UK electronic music. Emerging from Bournemouth’s underground scene, his breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed debut Drone Logic (2013) — a bold fusion of techno, acid, and ambient textures that set the tone for his genre-defying approach.
Since then, Avery has continued to push boundaries with albums like Song for Alpha (2018), Love + Light (2020), and his collaborative project Illusion of Time with Alessandro Cortini. He’s earned widespread praise for his expansive live shows and DJ sets, appearing at major festivals including Glastonbury, Field Day and Primavera, as well as clubs like fabric, Berghain and Printworks. Whether producing for headphones or the dancefloor, Daniel Avery’s work is consistently forward-thinking, emotionally resonant, and unmistakably his own.
