In the realms of psych, DAIISTAR are one of the hottest prospects in the world. Hailing from Austin, Texas, the bands debut album has met critical acclaim, boasting productional input from white denim and the black angels, resulting in an other-worldly selection of music, ranging from serenity to chaos. They travel to Bristol for an intimate show at the exchange on Wednesday 15th May - see them before they explode. Support on the evening comes from local dream gazers Kibbo Kift & Solar FidéUnmissable FFO: The Jesus And Mary Chain, Spacemen 3, The Stone Roses & The Brian Jonestown Massacre.DAIISTARDAIISTAR is a Noise-Pop/Alt Indie band formed in Austin, Texas in the spring of 2020. The band takes their inspiration from the neo psychedelic era of the 80s and 90s (The Jesus and Mary Chain, Spacemen 3, early Primal Scream) and pulls it into the future with modulating synthesizers, heavy guitars, bouncing bass lines, and spiraling hooks, creating a narcotic blend of noise and melody. DAIISTAR recently recorded their first studio album produced by Alex Maas of The Black Angels and engineered by James Petralli of White Denim. The band has signed to UK based label Fuzz Club Records, with whom they released their debut album GOOD TIME which they will be celebrating on this tour.Kibo KiftKibbo Kift, a Bristol quintet recently formed on the back of projects by Isaac Mackenzie. Comprising of Badger Shearing-Alden, Ella Holmes, Matt Hives, Tom Plimley and Jake Kirton, Kibbo Kift take Inspiration from artists such as Sonic Youth, Fontaines DC and The Brian Jonestown Massacre, creating a 90’s lofi feeling paired with undertones of raw noise and Shoegaze sounds.Solar FidéSolar Fidé are a dynamic Neo-Psychedlic/Alternative-Rock four piece hailing from Bristol, England. Distinctly blending the kaleidoscopic sounds of the 60s with the driving rhythms of the 90s, Solar Fidé are a temptation to the ears for anyone with a love of early Indie and Grunge, as well as Progressive Rock & Britpop.
