Cortisa Star is a rapper from Delaware who went from posting playful videos online to becoming one of underground rap's most talked-about names. Her breakout single "Fun" took off on TikTok in 2024 following a viral From The Block freestyle, racking up more than five million global streams and pushing her bold, unapologetic style into the spotlight. An openly trans artist who has built a devoted following by being exactly herself, she has picked up co-signs from Charli XCX and Lil Nas X, along with features in The Fader, Dazed and Out Magazine.
Her sound is loud, fast and made for the dancefloor, drawing on hyperpop, drill and club music with booming 808s and a knack for a hook. Tracks like "Menace" and her guest verse on skaiwater's "Choke" show an artist who thrives on energy and attitude, and live that translates into a set built for late nights and big rooms, where her charisma and sharp lyricism keep the crowd moving.
