Welsh alt-folk band Calan are a five-piece group that explores traditional sounds in a contemporary setting. Formed in 2006, the band members were aged between 13 and 22 years old. They include Angharad Sian (fiddle), Bethan Rhiannon (accordion, piano, vocals), Sam Humphreys (guitar), Shelley Musker-Turner (harp) and Patrick Rimes (fiddle, pibgorn, whistle, bagpipes).
