About Buzzcocks

Formed in Manchester in 1976, Buzzcocks are among the true originators of British punk. Their debut EP Spiral Scratch (1977) came out on the band's own New Hormones label, a bold do-it-yourself move that helped inspire a whole generation of independent labels and musicians. What followed was a brilliant run of razor-sharp, irresistibly catchy records, including debut album Another Music in a Different Kitchen (1978), Love Bites (1978) and singles such as "What Do I Get?" and "Ever Fallen In Love (With Someone You Shouldn't've)", which reached number 12 in the UK and remains their signature song.

Following the death of frontman Pete Shelley in 2018, founder member Steve Diggle has kept the Buzzcocks spirit burning bright through fresh songwriting, new recordings and plenty of time on the road, including a UK tour supporting The Stranglers. Albums Sonics in the Soul (2022) and Attitude Adjustment (2026) prove the band have lost none of their bite, pairing punk energy with melodies that stick. Expect a set packed with classics, delivered with all the heart and urgency that made them legends.
