Formed in Bridgend, South Wales, in 1998, Bullet For My Valentine grew into one of Britain's defining heavy metal bands. Their debut album, The Poison (2005), delivered the enduring singles "Tears Don't Fall" and "All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me)", and its follow-up, Scream Aim Fire (2008), cracked the top ten in both the UK and the US. A run of hard-hitting records followed, including Fever (2010), Temper Temper (2013), Venom (2015), Gravity (2018) and the self-titled Bullet for My Valentine (2021).
Built on twin-guitar riffs, thrashy energy and soaring, singalong choruses, the band have become one of the most successful British metal acts since Iron Maiden, with three Kerrang! "Best British Band" awards to their name. Their reputation as a formidable live act was underlined in 2025, when they co-headlined arenas across the UK alongside Trivium, selling out The O2 in London to celebrate 20 years of The Poison.
