Black Water County are a riotous folk-punk band from Dorset, England, known for their high-energy performances, infectious melodies, and a distinctive blend of traditional Celtic folk and punk rock grit. Formed on St. Patrick’s Day in 2013, the band has built a loyal following with their raucous sound, featuring driving rhythms, dual lead vocals, and folk instrumentation including banjo, mandolin, and tin whistle. Their debut album, Taking Chances (2017), introduced their anthemic, beer-soaked singalongs, while their follow-up records have solidified their reputation as one of the most exciting acts in the folk-punk scene.

Renowned for their explosive live shows, Black Water County have played major festivals such as Boomtown, Beautiful Days, Black Deer, and Camp Bestival, as well as international dates across Germany, Belgium, Switzerland, and France. They have also joined Fireball’s Fuelling the Fire Tour, sharing the stage with Flogging Molly, Less Than Jake, and The Skints.
