York-born indie folk singer / songwriter Benjamin Francis Leftwich is best known for his single "Shine" which was named Spotify's most addictive track of 2014.
One of the first signees to indie label Dirty Hit (along with The 1975); Leftwich has released five studio albums, including Top 40 debut LP Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm, After the Rain (2016), Gratitude (2019), To Carry a Whale (2021) and Some Things Break (2024).
