Alberta Cross is an Anglo-Swedish rock band, founded by singer-guitarist Petter Ericson Stakee and bassist Terry Wolfers in London, before their years in Brooklyn, New York, led them to settle in Frome, UK. Initially signed by Universal’s Fiction Records in the UK and Geffen in the US, Alberta Cross quickly gained attention for their compelling mix of Americana, rock, and blues. Though Wolfers departed in 2013, Stakee continued to lead the band, driving their evolution as a unique force in modern rock.
With a string of hit tracks featured in TV shows like Californication, Sons of Anarchy, and Hawaii Five-0, Alberta Cross’ music has reached audiences far beyond their live shows. Having toured the world, the band has shared stages with legends such as Oasis, Neil Young, The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, and Mumford & Sons, and played at top festivals like Coachella, Glastonbury, and Lollapalooza. Songs like "Low Man," "Lucy Rider," and "Money for the Weekend" have become synonymous with rock’s modern landscape, earning placement in films, TV shows, and commercials.
