About Los Lobos
California's multiple Grammy Award-winning American Chicano rock sextet Los Lobos will headline London's Clapham Grand on 22nd July.
Formed in the late 1970’s, band members Dave Hidalgo, Cesar Rojas, Steve Berlin, Louie Pérez and Conrad Lozano would go on to become renowned figureheads of Mexican-American music in the United States of America. The band quickly gained notoriety and received widespread critical acclaimed for their 1984 album ‘How Will the Wolf Survive?’ Three years later the group success with their first major hit, the popular classic ‘La Bamba’, which hit the airwaves in 1987.
Los Lobos have rightfulyl earned their place as legends of the Latin music scene with a career spanning almost three decades, which has seen the band release nearly twenty studio albums, the latest of which was 2013’s ‘Disconnected in New York City’.
