A beautiful, historic venue, boasting a magnificent auditorium with original features in the ceiling, stairways and balcony, it really is a dramatic and atmospheric space. The venue also houses a secondary Newcastle Academy2 space with a production complete capacity of 400 for showcasing new talent from the local area and breaking new acts on the touring circuit.
Under 14's must be accompanied by an adult.

Fenkle Street multi storey is the nearest car park and the venue is close to numerous public transport links including bus and rail stops.
The building allows wheelchair access on all floors via the lift. It is advised that customers contact Venue Management prior to show date. It is also recommended that show tickets are purchased in advance and arrival at the venue 10 minutes prior to doors, ideally accompanied by an able-bodied person who will be admitted free of charge.
