Brighton’s Youth Sector have carved out a distinctive place in the UK post-punk landscape with their punchy hooks, jerky grooves and vividly observational songwriting. Fuelled by buzzing synths, wiry guitars and a restless creative energy, the band deliver a sound that’s both danceable and thought-provoking, channelling influences from art-rock to new wave. Their debut EP Mundanity (2020) set out their mission statement with wit and swagger, followed by standout singles including “Real Estate” and “Here Comes The Fear”, each highlighting their talent for turning everyday anxieties into sharp, infectious anthems.
On stage, Youth Sector’s live shows are an explosion of energy — tight, frantic and impossible not to move to. They’ve earned a reputation as one of the most exciting young bands on the circuit, performing at venues such as The Old Blue Last and sharing bills with scene leaders including Squid and Shame. With their clever songwriting, vibrant performances and forward-leaning sound, Youth Sector continue to cement themselves as a driving force in modern British post-punk.
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
