Wolfgang Flür (born 17 July 1947 in Frankfurt, Germany) is a pioneering electronic musician whose rhythm-driven work helped shape the sound of 20th-century pop and techno. He rose to prominence as the drummer-percussionist of Kraftwerk from 1973 to 1987, contributing to albums such as Autobahn (1974), The Man-Machine (1978) and Computer World (1981).
After his time with Kraftwerk, Flür pursued a solo career marked by experimentation and collaboration. His solo albums—including Eloquence: Complete Works (2015), Magazine 1 (2022) and Times (2025)—featured work with artists like Peter Hook, Juan Atkins and Boris Blank, and explored the intersection of human rhythm and machine precision.
