About Viagra Boys

Viagra Boys are a Swedish post-punk powerhouse known for their raw energy, dark humour, and irreverent commentary on modern life. Formed in Stockholm in 2015, the band quickly gained attention with their debut album, Street Worms (2018), featuring the breakout single "Sports," a biting satire of hyper-masculinity. Their follow-up albums, Welfare Jazz (2021) and Cave World (2022), further showcased their chaotic, genre-blurring style, blending jagged guitars, electronic elements, and the gravelly charisma of frontman Sebastian Murphy.

The band’s wild live performances have become the stuff of legend, earning them a devoted following in the UK and beyond. Highlights include explosive sets at festivals such as Reading & Leeds and All Points East, as well as headlining shows at iconic venues like London’s Electric Ballroom. Viagra Boys have also supported acts like IDLES, cementing their status as a must-see force in the post-punk revival. Unpredictable and unapologetic, Viagra Boys continue to challenge conventions and deliver music with a visceral, rebellious edge.

SUPERB GIG..

Absolutely brilliant and entertaining gig. I would 100% recommend catching Viagra Boys live - the atmosphere was fantastic. A guest appearance from Jason Williamson ( of Sleaford Mods fame ) brought the house down on the song Big Boy..
