The Queen's Hall started off life as Hope Park Chapel in 1823 (later becoming the church of Newington and St Leonard's) and continued as a place of worship until 1976, and continues to thrive as one of Edinburgh's oldest and most varied independent live music, comedy and spoken word venues.

There is limited on-street parking on single yellow lines available in the evenings; please check road signs for details. The nearest car park is at 62 St Leonards Street, Edinburgh EH8 9SW.

Directions by bus

By bus: 2, 3, 5, 8, 29, 30, 31, 33, 49 (closest stops on Clerk St: St Patrick Square / Lutton Place / Bernard Terrace).

Directions by rail/tube

Waverley train station - 20 mins; Royal Mile - 10 mins; University of Edinburgh - 5 mins.
