New York hard rockers Tyketto are the band you need. This year marks twenty-five years of rock and roll craziness. To celebrate quarter of a century they will be hitting the road to undertake one of the biggest tours of the entire careers on huge headline dates that will set the world on fire. You better DIG IN DEEP! TYKETTO are on the way!!!!!

The bands current incarnation includes drummer Michael Clayton, lead vocals from Danny Vaughn with lead guitar by Chris Green, Ged Rylands on keys and Jimi Kennedy playing bass.

The band formed in the late Eighties and were signed to major label Geffen Records by 1990 with whom they released their 1991 debut album Don’t Come Easy. The hard rock album enjoyed some success with the single Forever Young getting widespread attention. However, the record was released at a time when grunge was beginning to emerge meaning the album’s sound didn’t quite fit and result in the sales it deserved. Their second album; Strength In Numbers was released in 1994 followed by third album Shine in 1995. The band would split in 1996.

In 2008 they reformed. With a change in the musical landscape towards a harder sound, many had retrospectively discovered the work of Tyketto which was enjoying somewhat of a renassince. The band began touring and in 2012 released the new album Dig In Deep.

Tyketto tickets are available through Gigantic. Book yours before they are gone!

Their Autumn/Winter tour takes them to O2 ABC2 Glasgow, O2 Academy2 Liverpool and O2 Academy Islington in November. Then the tour pushes on to Bristol Thekla, The Robin in Wolverhampton and finally Rescue Rooms at Nottingham in December.
