Trash Boat is a British punk rock band from St Albans, Hertfordshire, formed in 2014. Fronted by vocalist Tobi Duncan, the band is celebrated for their high-energy fusion of pop-punk, post-hardcore, and melodic punk. Their emotionally charged lyrics tackle themes such as mental health, personal growth, and societal pressures, connecting deeply with fans across the UK and beyond.
With their debut album Nothing I Write You Can Change What You've Been Through (2016) and follow-up Crown Shyness (2018), Trash Boat quickly established themselves as a compelling force in the punk scene. Tracks like “Strangers” and “Shade” showcase their talent for marrying intense, relatable storytelling with infectious hooks and driving instrumentation. Continuously evolving, the band now blends elements of emo and alternative rock into their sound, remaining a powerful and authentic voice in contemporary punk music.
