TRAVEL

I’m in Lewes! How do I get to the festival?
Here are some helpful walking directions on how to get to the venue: 

From the Beak Brewery + Taproom to The Party Field
From Lewes Train Station to The Party Field
From Lewes High Street Bus Stop to The Party Field

Once you get to the festival, please note that no vehicles will be allowed on the festival site with exception for those attendees with mobility restrictions. 

We are encouraging visitors to travel by train. Lewes is serviced by direct trains from London (60 mins), Brighton (10 mins), Eastbourne (25 mins) and Hastings (60 mins). And the venue is a short (20-35 min) walk from the station.

Please have your ticket QR codes ready once you arrive at the festival. You are welcome to print your tickets out, or have it on your smartphone available.

WHAT
These Hills is an intimate, carefully curated two day beer festival taking place in the town of Lewes in the South Downs National Park on the 15 and 16 June.
During the event, you'll have access to limited edition world class beer from a dreamy line-up of our favourite international and UK breweries.
The event is taking place in a beautiful rural location a short walk from Lewes train station and is limited to three sessions.

Alongside incredible beer, we’re serving-up delicious street-food and live music as well as low intervention wine, mead and cider from some of the UK’s finest producers. 

ACCOMMODATION
Lewes is popular with tourists, so hotels and B&Bs tend to get booked-up quickly – so, if you’re looking to stay for the weekend, please book something asap.

How do I buy beer at the festival?
The festival will operate a token system for attendees to use to purchase beer. You can buy tokens at the Token Tent near the entrance of the festival. Tokens can be purchased by card or contactless payments only–we cannot take cash payments on site.

Beers will be sold in ½ pints and 1/3 pint measures. We have glass rinsing facilities available onsite.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 

CHILDREN AND DOGS

Due to licensing restrictions and venue rules, children can only attend the Saturday and Sunday daytime sessions. For the Saturday evening session you must be over 18 to attend.

Dogs can attend all three sessions however we have a few rules:

- Your dog must be kept on a short lead at all times

- You must clear up after your dog and use the bins provided 

- Your dog must be kept under control at all times and is your responsibility 

AGE RESTRICTIONS

Our bar staff will be adhering to a challenge 25 policy; therefore, we recommend that all visitors bring a form of ID. Failure to do so may result in you not being allowed entry to the venue.

CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS

If you change your mind or cannot make the event we cannot issue refunds for tickets.

In the unlikely event that These Hills 24 has to be postponed your ticket will be valid for the date it is postponed to. We will be in touch with you by email if this happens.

REFUSAL

We reserve the right to refuse ticket holders entry if they are unable produce proof of ID, or if they are behaving in a manner that is deemed threatening, abusive or insulting.
