The Twang

Additional information

We're bringing The Twang to Truck Oxford for a special in-store event on 21st January 2027. Celebrating the release of their brand new album, "Bring Yourself",

After coming within touching distance of calling it a day, The Twang return with new album Bring Yourself - out 22nd January 2027 on Cooking Vinyl. A record born out of grief, reconciliation and a renewed appreciation for life, Bring Yourself sees the Birmingham band rediscover the chemistry that first made them one of the most distinctive voices of the British indie scene. Its first offering ‘Something to Someone’ is an instant statement of intent. Its soaring chorus - “Don’t try to be everything to everyone / Take it from me, it’s a waste of time / Just trying to be something to someone like me” - captures the spirit of the album: self-belief without the bullshit.

Our in-store events are a fantastic way to support your favourite artists and help boost their chart positions. Every purchase of a physical format counts towards official chart sales, making these events a great way to show your support.
