The Living Map: come and explore a 3D interactive model of Nottingham City Tickets

Join us for an interactive experience at Nottingham Central Library, where you can explore the city centre like never before.

A 3D printed model of the city, which won the British Cartographic Society ‘Map of the Year’ award in 2024, is brought to life through dynamic projection, revealing historical, cultural, environmental, urban and many other geographies of the city.

The model was developed by the University of Nottingham in collaboration with Nottingham City Council. Sessions around the model will be hosted by the University of Nottingham’s City as Lab initiative and the School of Geography, inviting you to see how different perspectives and data can transform our understanding of the city.
