The Icicle Works emerged in the 1980s as one of the UK’s most dynamic post-punk and new wave bands, blending anthemic rock with shimmering psychedelia. Fronted by the charismatic Ian McNabb, the Liverpool group made a lasting impact with their soaring melodies, poetic lyrics, and powerful live performances.
Best known for their hit "Love Is a Wonderful Colour," The Icicle Works built a dedicated following with their rich, atmospheric sound and ambitious songwriting. Though their lineup evolved over the years, McNabb has kept the spirit of the band alive, continuing to perform and celebrate their legacy.
