About The Icicle Works

Cult band The Icicle Works have made their welcome return. The alternative rock heroes made their name with the hits Love Is A Wonderful Colour and Whisper To A Scream (Birds Fly).

Despite their live appearances becoming a rare event which are few and far between, they just have announced a strong of headline shows taking place at Queens Margret Union at Glasgow and O2 Academy Liverpool in May. Later in the year sees them play Sheffield’s Plug, The Globe at Cardiff, Engine Rooms at Southampton in October and then Bristol Thekla and O2 Academy2 Birmingham during November 2019.

The demand is growing so make sure you book your The Icicle Works tickets before they all go. Gigantic makes booking your favourite gig tickets easy as you can place your order 24/7 using your tablet, smartphone or computer from the comfort of your home or while busy on the go.

After returning for two separate encores, McNabb makes a point of telling the audience how much he appreciates that there are fans who are still coming to see him play; yet, after witnessing the two-hour concert, it’s easy to see why they do. - Get Into This

From start to finish I’ve been smiling, singing and flailing my arms around. Apologies to all those in my vicinity for that but it was impossible not to. I’ve been blessed with some stunning gigs this year but The Icicle Works have just blown them all out the water. - Gig Junkies

We highly recommend that you set a personal reminder with Gigantic right now so we can alert you with a text message or an email when they become available at 10:00 on Friday 31st of May - a useful way of putting yourself ahead of the rest.

Their incredible back catalogue includes the albums; The Icicle Works / The Small Price Of A Bicycle / It You Want To Defeat Your Enemy, Sing His Song / Blind / Permanent Damage.
Following many line-up changes, band members now include drummer Matthew Priest, keys from Richard Naiff, Ian McNabb taking guitar and lead vocals with Roy Corkill on bass.
Given the rarity of their current live performances you can bet that The Icicle Works concert tickets will sell incredibly quick, so book yours before they are all gone.
