Benjamin Woods’s melancholic indie-folk project turned six piece, celebrated for poetic baritone storytelling.
If you'd like to be the first to know when new events are announced, you can follow The Golden Dregs below.
The Golden Dregs began in Cornwall as the solo project of songwriter-producer Benjamin Woods, releasing Lafayette in 2018 and Hope Is for the Hopeless in 2019, before catching the attention of 4AD with On Grace & Dignity (2023), whose rich, baritone-led storytelling has drawn comparisons to the likes of Lou Reed and Bill Callahan. In April 2025 they unveiled their fourth studio album, Godspeed, now performed as a full six-piece band following a transformative journey from solo work to collaborative creation.
They’ve since taken their soulful, atmospheric sound across the UK, supporting Future Islands at Crystal Palace Park and Ezra Furman at Union Chapel, and embarked on The Joy of Life Revue, touring cities like Leeds, Oxford, Brighton and Glasgow with fellow artists such as Sophie Jamieson and Lichen (solo).
Ticket prices may vary depending on venue and location. Full pricing details are available on each individual event page.
