Additional information

The Gas Station presents a colossal night of gritty southern rock, powerhouse blues, and soul-warming folk. Headlining the stage are Sheffield’s own road-honed rock extraordinaires, The Fargo Railroad Co., backed by an explosive showcase of rising local talent.

The Fargo Railroad Co.

Sheffield may be known as the Steel City, but it has spawned one of the hardest-working southern rock bands in the UK. Hot off the heels of their UK tour with Hayseed Dixie, this bearded four-piece brings a sound that harks back to the golden roots of country rock and blues.

Armed with a traditional lineup of acoustic and electric guitars, driving bass, and drums, they sing the stories of life’s trials and triumphs. If you’re a fan of the classic ‘70s sounds of Lynyrd Skynyrd, The Allman Brothers, Cash, Young, and Dylan-or contemporary heavyweights like Blackberry Smoke and Jason Isbell - this is the headline Lincoln show you have been waiting for.

Ewan Coulbeck

A Lincoln based folk singer songwriter influenced by acoustic artists like Elliot Smith and Gregory Alan Isakov. A favourite amongst the Komodo crowd, having supported King & Bears, Gowdie and Bagel.

Jackson Carter

Kicking off the night is Jackson Carter, where heartfelt poetry meets folky blues guitar. Known for clever lyricism that effortlessly transports you back in time, Jackson brings an uplifting and warming sound that goes down like a good tonic. Make sure you get down early to catch instant favourites like "Cafe Rose" that evoke nostalgia for an era gone by.
