Texas Is the Reason were an American post-hardcore band formed in New York City in the mid-1990s. Though their time as a band was brief, they became one of the most influential acts in the emo and post-hardcore underground, known for their emotionally charged songwriting, melodic guitar work and introspective lyrics.
