It was my 1st time at the Electric Ballroom, I can safely say it won't be my last. Great venue, it's easy to access and exit, very close to all transportation. Plenty of room even thought the gig had sold out.

The musical bond between Neil Sheasby and Neil Jones is as concrete as their band name: Stone Foundation. It needed to be to survive over a decade of trial, error and frequent returns to the drawing board before finding the right direction, one that’s finally led them to their new album "Street Rituals". Produced by and featuring Paul Weller, its ten tracks realise Stone Foundation’s vision of a vibrant modern UK soul band, the kind who can play with the best of the genre’s American legends including Bettye LaVette and Stax’s William Bell while never losing their own distinctly British identity - the sound of Memphis, via the Midlands.

They have just announced an extensive list of highly exciting upcoming dates to take place later in the new year. See them play at The Bullingdon at Oxford, The Brook at Southampton, York Fibbers, O2 Institute1 Birmingham and The Limelight 2 at Belfast in May.

Later in the year sees them play Edinburgh’s The Voodoo Rooms in October followed by Manchester Gorilla, Liverpool Arts Club, Nottingham’s Rescue Rooms, Newcastle Riverside, The Garage - Glasgow, The Wardrobe at Leeds, Norwich Waterfront, Yellow Arch Studios at Sheffield, The Haunt in Brighton and Bristol Thekla during November 2019.
