St Catherine’s Child is the transatlantic indie folk and Americana project of singer-songwriter Ilana Zsigmond. Born in England to musical parents and raised partly in New Haven, Connecticut, Ilana grew up immersed in a rich tapestry of American folk and roots music while absorbing the wit and articulation of British culture. Her performances in both the USA and UK have captivated audiences, blending heartfelt storytelling with nuanced, melodic instrumentation that reflects her cross-continental upbringing.
