Seb Lowe is a rising force in British indie, blending theatrical delivery, sharp social commentary and a striking sense of humour. Growing up in Oldham, Manchester, he built his early audience during the Covid pandemic, uploading acoustic performances to TikTok that quickly amassed nearly ten million views. As his confidence and following grew, so did his sound — evolving from intimate solo performances to a full band featuring violin, electric guitar, drums and bass. This shift added new depth and dynamism to his music, turning already arresting lyrics into powerful live statements.
With the momentum of his breakout EP Half-Decent, Lowe continued to establish himself across the UK music scene, earning a deserved slot at Glastonbury’s Left Field stage, curated by Billy Bragg. His performances combine political bite with emotional weight, delivered with a sense of urgency that resonates deeply with audiences. Still in the early stages of his career, he has already proven himself a compelling and important new voice — one whose poetic insight and unfiltered honesty feel perfectly tuned to the times.
