PVA are a South London trio who merge the kinetic energy of the dancefloor with the raw power of post-punk, creating a sound that’s as visceral as it is visionary. Formed by Ella Harris and Josh Baxter — who share vocal, synth and production duties — alongside drummer Louis Satchell, PVA have become key figures in the city’s thriving indie and electronic scenes. Their music thrives on contrasts: acid-soaked beats meet disco grooves, jagged guitars and queer-coded punk intensity, all underpinned by lyrical honesty and emotional depth.
Following their breakthrough single Divine Intervention (2019) and GRAMMY-nominated Toner EP (2020), PVA released their debut album BLUSH — a stunning statement that fuses industrial rhythms, poetic introspection and euphoric release. The record captures the spirit of their explosive live shows, honed through performances at SXSW, Pitchfork Festival and Green Man, and tours with the likes of Shame, Dry Cleaning and Goat Girl.
