Additional information

August 8th at WhereElse, Punk Rock Pride is very pleased to present an evening of metal, punk, emo and queercore for those feeling a bit popped out at Pride.

Floralis (Brighton)

Floralis is an anarcho queer producer, singer and rapper that delivers unapologetically anarchist art pop dance music dealing with the process of neocolonialism, neoliberalisation and transness from a violently ethnic perspective. Gothic, dancey, groovey. Similar to: Björk, MIA, Chumbawamba. Antifascist, artsy, angry.

AngryGynoPhiles (Kent)

AngryGynoPhiles are a Canterbury based Queercore Punk band, combining old school Hardcore Punk, protest chants, Grindcore and a dash of Sludge Metal with furious gay energy. We write songs about fighting Transphobia, freedom for Palestine and being gay as hell. So far we have been lucky enough to open up the first ever London Metal Pride and play with the likes of Hawxx, Be Nice, Leibniz and Chemical Storm and released our sold out debut EP, ‘Free Bottom Surgery’ to a packed out Lady Luck, as well as successful fundraisers for Trans Law Clinic and our friend Sai’s visa.

Lunacy (Kent)

Hello! We are LUNACY! , a Queer Punk band from Kent, England. We are a three piece band- with Ace Legood on vocals and guitar (he is also the primary songwriter), the amazing Rosie Hayden Jenkins on drums, and last but definitely not least Miss Evelyn Gray on bass! Our songs cover a wide range of topics; mental health, bullying, our experiences with being LGBTQ (good and bad), and adapting to the world as neurodivergent people. Politics are also a big part of our music. Our main aim as a band is to create a space for everyone, including people who don’t feel like they belong. Our whole outlook as a band is about expressing ourselves in the ways that make us happy; musically and through a range of art and fashion styles! It’s about belonging and turning pain into art. It is absolutely everything to us. We are so happy you’re here!
