Our first time at KK’s steel mill but what a great venue, it’s s little chilly at this time of year but Pop Will Eat Itself sorted that out. A few band members were mingling with fans before the show which was nice. Onto the music and yet another great set playing The this is the day album in full with various other favourites to finish with. This is the fourth time seeing PWEI this year with Leicester next week to go to also. Go and see them, you won’t be disappointed.

POP WILL EAT ITSELF, KKs Steel Mill, Wolverhampton - 12th December 2019
Firstly, Senser supported, which was great having missed them first time around. Their album, Stacked Up, still sounds fresh today, so hearing those songs live was a real treat. And as for PWEI, well, I think it was the best part of 24 years since I'd last seen them so this gig was a real blast. The band performed well and the crowd dug it, but I still kinda missed Clint, but hey, you can't turn back the clock. Not to do the Poppies a disservice because they certainly had us all on board from the moment they kicked off with PWEIZATION until the very last moments of Their Law. Good venue, good crowd, great tunes, good time!
