Pentire is a Herefordshire four-piece tell who cheap lager-soaked stories of student life, a small-town upbringing, and the innocence of youth.
The band were brought up on a diet of The Killers, Paolo Nutini and Stereophonics, and and these sonic threads are easily apparent in Pentire's own music, with their own unique twist.
The four-piece have gone from playing shows in their garages to selling out their own UK headline tours, and have performed at the likes of YNOT Festival, Truck, Isle of Wight and Splendour. With previous support from tastemakers such as Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1), Steve Lamacq (BBC 6Music), John Kennedy (RadioX) and Spotify’s Fresh Finds playlist, the band released their debut EP, Now In A Minute in 2023, which marries infectious melodies, clever lyrics and indie-rock danceability.
