Peel Dream Magazine is the musical project of Joe Stevens, an American songwriter and multi-instrumentalist known for crafting a unique blend of dream pop, shoegaze, and avant-garde indie rock. Taking inspiration from bands like Stereolab, My Bloody Valentine, and Broadcast, Peel Dream Magazine weaves together ethereal melodies, hypnotic rhythms, and lush, atmospheric textures.
Since their debut album, Modern Meta Physic (2018), the project has gained a cult following for its lo-fi aesthetic and richly layered soundscapes. Their 2020 album Agitprop Alterna further refined this approach, incorporating elements of krautrock and post-punk, while 2022’s Pad introduced a more introspective and folk-inflected direction. Having toured extensively across the UK and Europe, Peel Dream Magazine continues to captivate audiences with its immersive, dreamlike sonic world.
