SINGLES

DO NOTHING – ‘Glueland

Following on from Do Nothing’s essential ‘Zero Dollar Bill’ EP earlier this year and hot on the heels of sardonic self-help single ‘Adventures In Success’ comes their latest offering: ‘Glueland’! Championed by non-other than Steve Lamacq who premiered the song on his BBC 6music show, the Nottingham based band once again blend new wave and post punk into a strange stream of conscious rant, recounting the follies and foibles which serve to trap us in an endless monotony of the mundane.

The song refers to the feeling of being stuck in some kind of weird limbo-land. It’s about how rather than being dictated by wild or dramatic decisions, a lot of things (both good and bad) are controlled by this sort of lame jockeying that happens right in the grey dull middle ground of everything. That being said, it’s a fun song and we hope you like it.” – Chris Bailey

We are BIG fans of Do Nothing in Gigantic HQ, and we’re very excited for their tour that sees them hit the road playing headline dates around the UK during Spring 2021 – plus you can see them make appearances at festivals WIDE EYED and Leopallooza.

Do Nothing tickets are currently available.

DEFTONES – ‘Passenger (Mike Shinoda Remix)

Having only just dropped stunning new album ‘Ohms’, Californian space rockers Deftones have just announced the news that next month will see them celebrate the 20th anniversary of their classic LP ‘White Pony’ which includes remixes and reworkings from such esteemed artists as The Cure‘s Robert Smith, Clams Casino and Squarepusher.

Ahead of the release comes a taster of what to expect from Linkin Park’s Mike Shinoda who has transformed beloved track ‘Passenger’ into an anesthetised electro song that simmers with rage.

Deftones are one of the big bands booked for Download 2021, with a bill topped with such epic headliners acts as Kiss, Biffy Clyro and System Of A Down.

Deftones tickets are currently available.

ALBUMS

THE WEEKND – ‘Beauty Behind the Madness - 5th Anniversary Edition

Five years on; Canadian dark R&B sensation The Weeknd revisits his classic second album with ‘Beauty Behind the Madness - 5th Anniversary Edition’. The most-streamed album of the year when it dropped in 2015, it was the record that brought us such massive hit singles as ‘Often’, ‘Earned It’, ’Can’t Feel My Face’ and was named in such prestigious Album Of The Year listings as compiled by NME, MOJO, Rolling Stone, plus many more!

This year has also seen superstar The Weeknd drop his awesome new album ‘After Hours’ which is available on CD and Double Vinyl. Already a massive hit with critics and his legions of fans who made it a global Number 1 smash – he hits the UK for an Autumn 2021 tour and tickets are already selling out with Gigantic.

The Weeknd tickets are currently available.
