Welcome to the Moonshine Sessions! Gigantic is passionate about music and, together with our partners Alchemistic Records, we bring you live performances from the world’s most exciting acts.

The Moonshine Sessions are recorded live in the heart of Nottingham, well known for its fertile creative soil producing a wonderfully diverse music scene rich in homegrown talent whilst also attracting the very best performing acts from near and far.

We invite our artists whilst on tour to come to ROFL Audio for special one-off shows, plus showcase the very best local musicians to take advantage of the state-of-the-art facilities, to capture an intimate and revealing performances which shows just what makes them so unique and impressive.

Nottingham is a city renowned for being a fertile breeding ground for a rich and diverse music scene, and awesome alt.rock three-piece Kagoule rank amongst the very best. So, it is our great pleasure to have them join us on The Moonshine Sessions.

Daring to buck the trend of making simple and easy songs to try and grab the ever-waning attention spans of audiences in the age of streaming and social media, the art rock troika embrace complexed rhythms, lyrics which reference metaphysical SF and fantasy plus vocals that range from a robotic disconnected delivery to soaring impassioned harmonies.

Kagoule achieved cult status with the release of their debut album ‘Urth’ which was released in 2015 by local independent label Earache Records. They returned last year with follow up LP ‘Strange Entertainment’ which succeeded in proving that they are continuing to build up as an unstoppable creative force, aided in no small part by the compelling homemade videos for their singles, confirming their dedication to the DIY process and the power of a band with vision, intellect and ability.
