GOAT UK Tour 2027: Dates, Tickets & What to Expect Live

GOAT Announce 2027 UK Tour

Updated June 2026. Few bands have cultivated a mythology quite like GOAT. Over the last fifteen years, the anonymous Swedish collective have become one of modern psychedelia's most fascinating success stories, building a devoted global following through hypnotic records, ritualistic live shows and an identity shrouded in mystery. Their 2027 UK tour arrives at a significant moment, marking fifteen years since the release of their breakthrough debut World Music.

Fifteen Years of GOAT

When GOAT emerged from the remote Swedish village of Korpilombolo with their debut album World Music in 2012, few could have predicted the journey that would follow. Blending psychedelic rock, Afrobeat, folk traditions and hypnotic grooves, the anonymous collective quickly became one of the most intriguing acts in underground music.

Part of the fascination has always been the mystery. Performing in masks and costumes while keeping their identities hidden, GOAT built a mythology around the project that allowed the music and live experience to take centre stage.

Over the last fifteen years, that cult curiosity has grown into an international success story. Acclaimed records, sold-out headline tours and major festival appearances have established GOAT as one of modern psychedelia's most distinctive live acts.

Their 2027 UK tour arrives as both a celebration of that journey and a reminder that there is still nothing quite like a GOAT show.

About The Upcoming GOAT Tour

GOAT return to the UK in April 2027 for a run of headline dates taking in Cambridge, London, Bristol and Manchester. Along the way, the band will perform at some of the country's most exciting venues, including a landmark show at London's Royal Albert Hall.

Selected dates will also feature special guests with deep ties to GOAT's story. Newcastle heavy-psych favourites Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs will join the Cambridge and London shows, having played just their second-ever gig supporting GOAT back in 2012. Thirteen years on, the two bands reunite on a much bigger stage. Meanwhile, Manchester's genre-defying Maruja will bring their intense blend of post-punk, free jazz and improvisation to the Manchester date.

Known for transforming concerts into immersive communal experiences, GOAT's live shows combine hypnotic grooves, extended jams and their unmistakable masked aesthetic. With support from some of the most exciting names in contemporary underground music, these dates promise to be far more than a standard headline tour.

For Fans Of

Essential GOAT Songs

Not sure where to start? These essential GOAT tracks offer the perfect introduction to their hypnotic and genre-defying sound.

  • "Run To Your Mama" - GOAT's most-streamed song on Spotify, which gives an immediate sense of their ritualistic energy with its hypnotic grooves.
  • "Let It Burn" - a slow-burning, psychedelic epic that showcases the band's trance-inducing, jam-centred side.
  • "Goatfuzz" - this track is where GOAT's garage and krautrock influences collide in a heavy and chaotic sprawl.
  • "Golden Dawn" - an offering from their debut album World Music, this track is short and melodic, and includes some lovely psychedelic-pop hooks.

From Cult Curiosity to Festival Favourite

GOAT's rise began in Sweden's underground live scene, where the mysterious masked collective quickly built a reputation for immersive performances that set them apart from their peers. When their debut World Music was released, this proved to be a turning point in GOAT's career, by not only earning them critical acclaim but also introducing them to wider and international audiences.

As demand grew, GOAT translated that early buzz into a formidable touring career. Festival appearances at Glastonbury Festival, Primavera Sound and Coachella helped establish them as one of the most exciting live acts in modern psychedelia, while acclaimed albums including Commune, Oh Death and Medicine continued to expand their audience. In 2023, they also scored Shane Meadows' BBC/A24 drama series The Gallows Pole — a move that brought their sound to a mainstream audience without any compromise to their identity.

What began in small Swedish venues has evolved into headline tours across Europe and North America, with GOAT's reputation now built as much on their electrifying live shows as on their celebrated records.

Why GOAT Have Cult Status

Few bands can marry psychedelia, krautrock, Afrobeat and beyond quite like GOAT can. By fusing these eclectic genres with folk traditions, the band have carved out a unique space for themselves, sounding both timeless and impossible to categorise.

Combined with their trademark masks, costumes and mythology, GOAT have built a mystique rarely seen in modern music, allowing the focus to remain firmly on the collective experience of their live shows and their music, rather than their individual personalities.

What to expect from GOAT live

GOAT have earned a reputation as one of the most compelling live bands in modern psychedelia. Blending hypnotic grooves, extended jams and their trademark masked aesthetic, the Swedish collective transforms concerts into immersive communal experiences. Songs regularly evolve far beyond their studio versions, with rhythms stretched out, melodies reworked and moments of improvisation adding an air of unpredictability.

Balancing precision with spontaneity, no two GOAT performances feel exactly alike. The result is less a conventional concert and more a ritualistic celebration of live music, where audiences are encouraged to lose themselves in the band's kaleidoscopic sound world.
